Once again, Turbosound will exhibit a selection from its highly acclaimed range of professional loudspeakers at this year's ABTT Theatre Show, to be held in London's Royal Horticultural Halls on 13th and 14th June. The show provides the first opportunity to view the latest addition to the Turbosound family, the NuQ series loudspeakers, on home ground.
Designed for any portable professional audio application, NuQ systems are fully integrated, networkable sound reinforcement packages. They come as either digitally self-powered units – with 90% efficient Class D amplifiers employing 96kHz sample rates – or as discrete loudspeakers used in conjunction with Turbosound LMS series controllers and power amplifiers. Neodymium drive units are used throughout the range for low weight and reliable performance, while the pre-formed plywood cabinets provide exceptional strength and improved handling. TurboDrive™ software gives intuitive, real-time PC management of Turbosound controllers and powered loudspeakers individually or over a BvNet network.
NuQ systems are offered in different sizes and output capabilities according to application, providing consistently high audio quality with similar voicing between models. A selection of two-way models including the compact NuQ-8DP and multi-purpose NuQ-12DP, as well as the B15DP 15" front-loaded subwoofer and B18DP 18" bandpass subwoofer will be on show.

A trapezoidal, three-way, full-range cabinet offering a 50°H by 25°V dispersion pattern combined with medium throw characteristics, the TA-500t features a similar driver complement and voicing to the narrower dispersion TA-880 products, providing a one-box solution for small and medium venues. It features an integrated rigging system designed for fast and effective flying.
The TSW-218 double 18" horn-loaded subwoofer provides substantial sub-bass support for the TA-500t.
