Aspect® at Make Poverty History festival

Over 7,000 under 18s flocked to the recent Lush Music Festival, Melbourne's newest youth event, which donates proceeds to the Make Poverty History cause. Twenty local DJ's, three International DJ's and home grown band Dukes of Windsor pumped up the volume on local production company, Pro Light and Sound’s, Turbosound Aspect® system.

Stav Hatzipantelis, production manager and owner of Pro Light and Sound, and his team used their full Aspect TA-880 system to cover the large Hoecker structure that Lush was held in, with Aspect's patented Polyhorn™ design and point-source characteristics providing clean, clear, controlled dispersion at the front and incredibly coherent, 'close', even coverage at the back of the venue, without the need for any delay stacks.

The Front of House system consisted of a five-way Turbosound Aspect system with three TA-880H mid-highs, six TA-880L dual 15" subwoofers and two TSW-218 dual 18" ultra low frequency subs per side, and in-fill from a single Aspect Wide TA-500 per side. System processing was via Turbosound LMS processors, with amplification from Lab.gruppen fP and the new FP+ series amplifiers and the four double 18" subs powered by a single Lab.gruppen FP13000, delivering 6500w per channel.

Aspect worked extremely well and the event was hailed a huge success, with Pro Light and Sound receiving a host of compliments about its state-of-the-art audio and lighting show.
