The new TCS series is
Turbosound's most innovative range of sound contracting
loudspeakers to date. Loaded with advanced acoustics technology,
the range is packed with features that are designed to make your
job easier. The TCS series is the first choice for all kinds of
permanent installations ranging from small cafes and bars, through
houses of worship, nightclubs and live music venues up to large
stadium projects.
Comprising a range of 19 individual products,
the TCS series incorporates core technologies developed for Turbosound
flagship concert touring loudspeakers, giving you the benefit
our our latest design innovations in a permanently installed sound
system.
 The
Dendritic waveguide offers the superior array performance
system required for multi-cabinet clusters, and features prominently
in TCS series two-way models. In order to ensure consistent frequency,
phase and time response at the horn throat, the output from the
compression driver exit is divided by two repeatedly to make sure
that all the path lengths to the horn mouth are equal.
 The
Converging Elliptical Waveguide (CEW™) delivers
optimum dispersion from a small cabinet. The horn is quite shallow,
in order to allow both high frequency and low frequency drivers
to be physically aligned, and it is also wide to provide good
coverage over a large area. The result is well balanced, phase-coherent
sound for all the audience.
 Rotatable
waveguides allow the loudspeaker's coverage pattern to
be adapted to suit the shape of the room or audience space, and
they are easily rotated within the cabinet in minutes. Waveguides
for the TCS-122 and TCS-152 are available in three factory-supplied
dispersion options: 90°h x 60°v, 90°h x 40°v and
60°h x 40°v for complete flexibility.
 Multiple
rigging options are provided to allow a wide choice of
rigging methods: ranging from simple eyebolt suspension, wall
and ceiling brackets; downfill brackets; and kits of inter-locking
flyplates and couplers for assembling visually discreet loudspeaker
clusters. The trapezoidal and double trapezoidal cabinet shape
(except TCS-B218) ensures that the external flying hardware is
virtually invisible.
 Black
or white durable textured paint finishes are standard,
while custom colours can be ordered to match a supplied RAL colour
reference. IP54 options are also available on all non-powered
models for use outdoors and in humid conditions.
