Impact 65T Architect's and Engineer's Specifications
The system shall be of the passive two-way type consisting of two 8" (203mm) low frequency loudspeakers and two 1" (25mm) ferrofluid-cooled neodymium high frequency drivers and shall be supplied with an adjustable wall bracket providing integral electrical connections. Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall meet or exceed the following: frequency response, measured with swept sine wave input, shall be flat within ±3dB from 74Hz to 18kHz, and within ±10dB from 43Hz to 20kHz. Nominal dispersion, at -6dB points, shall average 100 degrees horizontal x 70 degrees vertical. Power handling shall be 120 watts continuous, 240 watts program. Sensitivity, measured with 1 watt input at 1 metre distance on axis, mean averaged over stated bandwidth shall be 90dB. Maximum SPL (peak) measured with music program at stated amplifier input shall be 117dB. Dimensions: 450mmH x 164mmW x 158mmD (17.7"H x 6.5"W x 6.2"D). Weight: 5kg (11lbs). The loudspeaker system shall be the Turbosound Impact 65T. No other loudspeaker shall be acceptable unless submitted data from an independent test laboratory verify that the above combined performance / size specifications are equalled or exceeded.
