TFM-212 Architects' and Engineers' Specifications
The loudspeaker shall be of the passive two way type, consisting of two reflex loaded 12" (305mm) low frequency loudspeakers and one 1" (25mm) high frequency compression driver. Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall be: Frequency response, measured with swept sine wave input, shall be flat within ±4dB from 80Hz to 16kHz. Nominal dispersion, at -6dB points, shall average 80 degrees horizontal by 60 degrees vertical. Nominal impedance shall be 4 ohms. Power handling shall be 350 watts r.m.s., 700 watts program, 875 watts peak. Sensitivity, measured with 1 watt input at 1 metre distance on axis, mean averaged over stated bandwidth, shall be 99dB. Maximum SPL (peak) measured with music program at stated amplifier power shall be 133dB. Dimensions: 312mm x 696mm x 418mm (12.3" x 27.4" x 16.4"). Weight: 24kg (52.8lbs). The loudspeaker shall be the Turbosound TFM-212. No other loudspeaker shall be acceptable unless submitted data from an independent test laboratory verify that the above combined performance/size specifications are equalled or exceeded.
