About this product

Arrayable 2-Way 12" Full Range Loudspeaker for Installation Applications, 60° H x 40° V Dispersion

The Turbosound TPA122/64 is a switchable passive / bi-amp 2,000 Watt arrayable 12" full-range loudspeaker with tight 60° horizontal by 40° vertical dispersion, engineered for permanent installations requiring precise pattern control and the option to cluster multiple cabinets without comb-filtering artefacts.

Why /64 in install

The 60° x 40° pattern is the contractor's standard tight horn — narrow enough to aim energy precisely at the audience plane in long-throw applications, with the vertical taper that minimises ceiling and floor reflections in acoustically problematic rooms such as transport hubs, atria and lecture theatres with hard surfaces.

Engineering highlights

  • Carbon-fibre-loaded 12" LF driver and 1" neodymium HF compression driver
  • 60° H x 40° V rotatable waveguide for landscape or portrait deployment
  • Switchable passive (single amp) or bi-amp (external processing) operation
  • 500 W continuous / 2,000 W peak power handling
  • Birch-plywood cabinet with multiple M10 rigging points for permanent flown installation
  • Arrayable architecture for multi-cabinet horizontal clusters in wider coverage zones

Specify in arrayed clusters for medium-throw fixed-install applications, paired with TPZ subwoofers to complete a Prague-series full-range system.
