The NuQ118B-AN-WH is the white-finish, install-spec active 18-inch subwoofer from the NuQ Series, fitted with the AN remote-trigger interface for venue control-system integration and finished in white (WH) for ceiling-recessed or visually-discreet permanent installation in cinemas, ballrooms, performing-arts venues and high-end retail. The 18-inch long-excursion low-frequency transducer features a 4-inch high-temperature aluminium voice coil and a vented pole-piece for sustained thermal handling, and operates in a reflex-loaded enclosure tuned to 32 Hz with a single front-facing slot port and an internal cross-bracing structure that suppresses panel modes above 80 Hz. Internal Class-D amplification delivers 1,000 W RMS from a high-efficiency switch-mode supply with active power-factor correction for stable performance on long mains runs, while onboard DSP manages the active crossover, FIR phase pre-correction, four user-selectable application presets (Music, Live, DJ and Speech), peak and RMS multi-band limiting and the 12 V AN remote-trigger logic for unattended power-up and stand-by sequencing from a venue control panel. Maximum peak SPL is 132 dB at 1 m, and the operating bandwidth is 32 Hz to 100 Hz (-10 dB) with the high-pass output filter active. Rear-panel I/O consists of two combo XLR/jack inputs, an XLR through-output with selectable high-pass filter for satellite tops, the AN trigger jack and a four-position preset rotary. Power-input is Powercon TRUE1 with a linked through connector for daisy-chained mains distribution to satellite cabinets. Construction is 18 mm Baltic birch with a white polyurethane finish and a perforated white powder-coated steel grille backed by acoustic cloth. A 35 mm top-mounted pole socket accepts the matching pole adapter for a NuQ102 or NuQ82 top cabinet, and four M10 fly points are provided on the top panel for ground-stacked top integration.
