The Turbosound TA-500TDP is a self-powered three-way mid-high loudspeaker from the Aspect Series, engineered for touring applications where the system designer wants the rigging and acoustic performance of a flagship touring cabinet without the additional truck space, weight and complexity of an external amplifier rack. By integrating amplification and DSP into the cabinet, the TA-500TDP cuts deployment time on multi-stop tours and removes the failure surface of long speakon runs between amp rack and FOH stack.

Acoustically the TA-500TDP is a three-way topology: a horn-loaded high-frequency section, a midrange driver and a low-mid driver, all crossed actively in the onboard DSP so each section receives its own correctly time-aligned and equalised signal. The integrated amplification is matched to the drivers under Turbosound's preset programmes, with protection limiters tuned to keep the system inside thermal and excursion limits at full output.

The cabinet is built to Aspect Series touring spec — road-grade plywood, steel-protected corners, recessed handles and integrated fly hardware so it can be hung directly from truss or stacked. It is intended to be paired with matching Aspect low-frequency cabinets to form a full-range scalable system; the TA-500TDP provides the mid-high coverage and accepts a network or analogue feed from the system controller.
