About this product

Estuche de Transporte para 2 Altavoces TBV123

The TBV123-RC2 is the rear-cardioid companion to the Turbosound Berlin TBV123 main line-array element, a three-way active flown enclosure that pairs back-to-back with a forward-facing TBV123 to produce an additional rear low-frequency null behind the stage and improve articulation in the audience plane. The cabinet houses a single 12-inch rear-firing low-frequency driver in a precisely-tuned vented enclosure, an internal Class-D amplifier delivering 1,000 W to the rear LF transducer and a dedicated digital signal-processing engine that derives the cardioid steering signal from the front cabinet over a proprietary digital link with sub-millisecond latency. Combined with the front TBV123's internal DSP cardioid algorithm, the result is up to 18 dB of rejection at the rear at 80 Hz and a consistently more even on-stage gradient, which extends usable gain before feedback for vocal microphones placed in front of the array and reduces low-frequency leakage onto nearby residential areas in outdoor festival applications. Power-input is via a Powercon TRUE1 connector with link-through, and the digital link uses a single Cat5e cable to the front TBV123. The cabinet uses the same rigging hardware as the front element with captive aluminium fast-pins ensuring the two cabinets fly as a single mechanical unit, and the integrated three-point rigging frame is certified to a 10:1 ultimate-strength safety factor. Construction is 15 mm Baltic birch with a textured polyurethane finish and a perforated steel grille backed by acoustic foam, dimensionally matched to the front TBV123 for a clean visual envelope. Per-cabinet remote monitoring of input level, amplifier temperature, fan status and current draw is available via the Turbosound control software. Typical deployment is large-format flown PA for outdoor festivals, arena tours and corporate keynotes where on-stage low-frequency rejection is critical. Designed and engineered in the U.K.
