The Turbosound B-18-DP is an 18" band-pass powered subwoofer engineered for portable PA, live music reinforcement, and DJ applications where the system must deliver authoritative low-frequency output from a single cabinet. Class-D amplification with onboard DSP, an 18" LF driver, and a band-pass cabinet design combine to extend the response well below the reach of smaller subs.

Band-pass design, install-grade build

Designed and engineered in England, the B-18-DP uses a band-pass enclosure topology to deliver higher acoustic output per watt than equivalent front-loaded designs in the same frequency range. The integrated M20 top-pole socket allows direct stacking of NuQ tops for fast single-engineer deployment, and the rugged cabinet is built for trucked rental use.

Where it fits

Specify the B-18-DP for events, dance floors, mid-size live music venues, and worship spaces where the LF response needs to extend below 40 Hz under load. Pair with NuQ-12DP or NuQ-15DP tops for full-range output.

This model is no longer in production. Current alternative is the Turbosound iQ Series 18" powered subwoofer.
