The Turbosound TQ-308-M is a powered mirror loudspeaker from the TQ Series, engineered in the United Kingdom for portable PA, corporate events and small-venue applications where a single compact cabinet must deliver clean, intelligible sound across a wide audience. The "M" designation indicates the mirror version — the horn orientation is flipped relative to the standard cabinet, enabling matched left/right stereo pairs to be deployed with consistent visual symmetry on either side of the stage and identical coverage geometry into the room.
An 8" LF/MF driver is loaded into a ported wooden enclosure and crossed over to a high-frequency compression driver on a constant-directivity horn, producing the wide horizontal coverage and even off-axis response Turbosound has built its reputation on. The constant-directivity horn keeps the high-frequency energy controlled across the audience plane rather than dumping it into the ceiling and rear walls, which is what gives a small box this size the intelligibility it needs for spoken-word content as well as music.
Integrated Class-D amplification, factory preset DSP and full protection circuitry let engineers plug in, set gain and walk away — no external processor, no manual EQ, no surprise driver damage from over-drive. The input section accepts line- and mic-level signals for small ad-hoc setups where a separate mixer would be overkill: presenter, DJ, vocal-plus-backing-track sets all run cleanly direct into the cabinet.
Integrated handles, M10 fly-points and a top pole-mount socket make the TQ-308-M equally at home stand-mounted on a portable rig, flown into a permanent install with the appropriate Turbosound rigging hardware, or stacked on a Turbosound subwoofer for a compact subs-and-tops PA system.
Note: The TQ-308-M is now obsolete and is no longer in production. Spares and service support remain available via the authorised Turbosound service network during the published service window.
