About this product

Altavoz para Aplicaciones Portátiles

The Turbosound TXD-12M is a passive 12-inch wedge monitor designed and engineered in the United Kingdom for portable stage-monitor applications. The two-way design pairs a high-excursion 12-inch low-frequency driver with a high-frequency compression driver on a low-profile wedge, sized to sit unobtrusively at a performer's feet while delivering the foldback level required for live use. Constructed in 15 mm birch ply with a powder-coated steel grille and reinforced corners, the cabinet is engineered for repeated truck-and-stage cycles on hire inventories and small-to-mid touring rigs. Recessed handles support single-person load-in and load-out, while the trapezoidal cross-section keeps the cabinet footprint compact at the performer's feet. Drive is via a standard NL4 input from an external amplifier, with a parallel pass-through for daisy-chained wedges, allowing the system engineer to specify the amplifier headroom, limiter thresholds and processing externally and pair the TXD-12M with the venue's existing monitor chain. The low-profile geometry and controlled high-frequency dispersion mitigate sightline obstruction and feedback at the vocal microphone, making the TXD-12M a pragmatic foldback cabinet for live venues, function rooms and theatre stages. British engineering throughout, with serviceable drivers and a passive crossover designed for long-life field service on hire and touring inventories. The cabinet's voicing follows the established Turbosound monitor curve, so the system engineer can deploy the TXD-12M alongside existing Turbosound foldback wedges in mixed inventories without requiring a fresh tonal reference for the performer's mix.
