Overview
The Turbosound KS118B is a passive 18" subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency response of Turbosound full-range systems in performance, install and portable PA applications. Built around a high-power 18" transducer in a rigid front-loaded reflex enclosure, it delivers the controlled, articulate bass demanded by speech and music sound reinforcement at higher SPLs.
Applications
The KS118B suits houses of worship, live music venues, sports facilities and corporate AV installs where a passive sub is preferred for amp-rack centralisation. Its single-18" format keeps cabinet count manageable while still adding meaningful low-end extension to a stacked or flown system.
Build
The cabinet uses a hard-wearing finish with integrated rigging and pole-mount points, and accepts an external amplifier with appropriate processing for the model.
